It is our pleasure to announce the members of the Accord Project Technical Steering Committee (TSC) for 2025-2027.  

 

Note that an election of members was not necessary at the end of the 2022-24 term, as seven nominations were received for seven positions. 

The TSC meets monthly to discuss the ongoing governance, mission, funding, evangelisation and marketing of Accord Project. TSC meetings are open to all and community members are encouraged to attend, or to review the meeting recordings online.

The members of the TSC for 2025-27 are:

  1. Tom Brooke is a practicing lawyer based in North Carolina, USA. Tom has been involved with Accord Project for many years as is a former chair of the North Carolina Bar association Future of Law committee and a former Adjunct Professor at Campbell University Law School.
  2. Jonathan Casey is a Senior Software Engineer and a maintainer for the Accord Project, currently working at Docusign. With almost two years experience as a maintainer under his belt, Jonathan has made significant contributions to AP, including the addition of the Map Type language feature in Concerto.
  3. Martin Halford is a co-founder and the CTO for beNEXT.io, an Australian-based startup focused on developing smart legal contracting platforms for end-users.
  4. Diana Lease is a Senior Software Engineer at Docusign with a strong commitment to the open source community. Elected to the Technical Steering Committee in 2022, Diana is the current Chair of the Technology Working Group, where she leads weekly Zoom calls with the community. She served as the program administrator for the 2024 Google Summer of Code and represented AP at the GSoC Mentor Summit. She also contributed to the recently published whitepaper.
  5. Matt Roberts is a senior engineering leader at Docusign and a maintainer of the Accord Project since its founding. At Docusign, Matt leads the platform engineering team responsible for Agreement Data. Matt was the Director of Engineering at Clause where he led a team to build the first commercial implementation of the Accord Project stack, and influenced the design of key project strategic components such as Cicero, Ergo and the web-components repository.
  6. Niall Roche co-founded Venture Builder The Building Blocks and is CTO-in-Residence and a Senior Teaching Fellow at the UCL School of Management and member of at the UCL Centre for Blockchain Technologies and is on the TechComm for the Hedera Hashgraph. Niall teaches AP fundamentals as part of a Smart Legal Contracts module at the LTIC.
  7. Dan Selman is a founding member of Accord Project. He has made numerous code contributions over the years (including the first code contribution!) and is an active maintainer, member of the Tech-WG, and mentor.
