We are pleased to announce that Accord Project is now listed on the Linux Foundation crowdfunding portal and we are gratefully accepting donations from companies and individuals.
Your donations help ensure the financial stability, transparency and accountability of the Open Source projects you value.
This is the next step in our journey to make Accord Project a vibrant, independent and self-sustaining Open Source project and community. It builds upon the election of a Technical Steering Committee last year.
The money raised will be used to fund Accord Project hosting infrastructure: GitHub, Netlify, Slack, WordPress, Vimeo, 1password, Zoom and GSuite, used to sustain and grown the community, and to host the code artefacts and libraries produced by the community. Our current costs are approximately $2,000 USD per year. You can make a donation and view expenses via the Linux Foundation crowdfunding portal.
The TSC has also discussed launching Gold, Silver and Bronze sponsorships tiers for larger donations from companies. If that is something you are interested in supporting we encourage you to contact the TSC chairperson, Martin Halford via the #tsc, or email admin at accordproject.org.
