On June 23, 2021 The Denver Hyperledger Meetup group presented “Smart Legal Contract using the Accord Project and Hyperledger Fabric” John Carpenter, member of the Meetup group and a volunteer member of the Accord Project team was the host. Tom Brooke of the Accord Project team helped present.
The meetup was an introduction to the Accord Project and its use with Hyperledger Fabric. Accord Project smart legal contracts differ from smart contracts such as contracts written in solidity or chain code in that Smart Legal Contracts actually contain text that a lawyer or a Court of law can interpret. An Accord Smart Legal Contract can interact with Hyperledger Fabric by using Fabric as a repository for interactions with the smart legal contracts. The smart legal contracts can interact Hyperledger through the interface between chain code and Ergo the Accord Project internal language. The introduction was followed by lively question and answer period.
